Meditation, or mindfulness as it is also called, has far-reaching and long-lasting benefits in our lives.

It helps us lower our stress levels, to know and understand our pain, to connect us better with ourselves, our environment and with those around us, it also helps us improve our focus, and allow us to be kinder to ourselves. While meditation isn’t a cure for all our life’s challenges, it certainly provides us some much-needed space in our life.

And sometimes, that is all we need to make better choices for ourselves, our families, and our communities.

However, those that practice meditation often say that meditation is not easy. It is quite challenging to keep your mind focused for even a short span of minutes. Even a single mindful breath can be difficult to achieve. However, if you are continuously finding meditation challenging and not helpful despite practicing it for a period of time, there is every chance that your current practice is not suiting you, or that you haven’t explored enough other techniques that may be right for you.

In this session, personal development and life coach, Fionna Wright, will walk us through the basics as well as 10 different techniques on how to meditate, so you can find the one that suits you best.
